Ad Guide in TrafficAdBar

Image HostingStep 1: Setting Up Your Ad Listing
Your success or failure with Traffic Ad Bar is really the same as with any other ad you place on the internet or even offline -- your results will depend on the ability of your ad to attract enough interest to entice the viewer to click on the ad. And then to send them to a related page which "seals the deal" to produce the desired result - whether that be to generate a lead to follow-up with, produce an actual sale, etc.

TIP: The best success with any ad usually comes when the ad is linked to a specific page that relates directly to the ad. You have a much better chance at a conversion (whether it be a lead or a sale) if you give the viewer one thing to do versus sending them to a home page that gives them a wide variety of places to go. They become confused. Take them by the hand and lead them where YOU want them to go.

Step 2 : Adding a Site to Promote
When you click the "Websites" link at the top of the page, you will be able to register the site, or sites, you wish to promote. You can promote multiple sites or you can promote multiple pages within a given site. Each site or page you wish to promote must be entered as a URL (http://www.yoursite.com/). Each ad will automatically be linked directly to the URL you provide for each ad. (Each ad has its own URL.)

TIP: Even if you want to send traffic to just one URL, you can place multiple ads for that URL in order to test them and see which ad is more effective. This is one of the best benefits of Traffic Ad Bar's free system by providing you a vehice to test your ad for free before placing the same ad in a paid environment.

Step 3 : Entering a Title
When you enter a URL you will then be asked to add an "Ad Title" where you enter the Title of the page for the URL you just entered. The Title is the LINKED HEADLINE that people click on to go to your site.

You need to think carefully about what you enter here. You are limited to 25 characters. What you write should be both an attention grabber and a summary of what your site or offer is about. Potential visitors will make a decision to visit your site -- or NOT -- based on what you enter here. Think of the TITLE as a headline that will make people want to click and visit your site.

TIP: If you need some ideas for what works, look at your Start Page and read what other users have written for their site promotions. Study what attracts you. Be creative. Find a hook. Sell a benefit. You can easily change the wording later if you come up with something better.

Step 4 : Writing a Description
The description is a longer summary of your site, or offer, and is limited to 2 lines each of 35 characters.

The DESCRIPTION is an amplification of your title. The better your DESCRIPTION, the more targeted your traffic will be. Think about the benefits you are offering and the reasons someone should visit your site. Try to answer the questions raised by your title. Again, study what others have written and then go to their sites. See how they do it.
